Not Practical Politics, Bibit Waluyo: PERPUKADESI Present as the Moral Strength of the Nation

JAKARTA - The Association of Regional Heads of All Indonesia (PERPUKADESI) has firmly stated its position as a moral force for the stability and progress of Indonesia. This organization is committed to staying away from practical politics and focusing on being a strategic partner of the government.

Chairman of PERPUKADESI, General TNI (Ret.) Bibit Waluyo, emphasized that this platform is present to provide a clear and constructive view. He conveyed this at the National Attitude Statement held in Jakarta, Monday (4/5/2026).

Become a National Development "Think Tank"

According to Bibit Waluyo, PERPUKADESI is not just a place for former governors, rectors, and mayors to gather. More than that, this organization serves as a think tank that focuses on sustainable development issues.

"PERPUKADESI exists as a moral force of the nation. We want to make a real contribution through the experience of members in leading their respective regions," said Bibit Waluyo.

With a wealth of experience in bureaucracy and regional leadership, PERPUKADESI members are considered to have a very relevant perspective in guiding future public policies.
