Indosat Posts Double-Digit Growth in the First Quarter of 2026
JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) managed to record total revenue of IDR 15.2 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, and became the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history.
The revenue increased 12% year-on-year (YoY). EBITDA increased 13% YoY to IDR 7.2 trillion with a healthy margin profile, while net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity reached IDR 1.5 trillion, growing 26% year-on-year.
Indosat's solid performance is supported by the continued positive momentum in the mobile business, with combined ARPU increasing 15% year-on-year to IDR 45,000, reflecting increasingly optimal monetization and increasing customer quality.
At the same time, data traffic grew 25.1% year-on-year, confirming the increasing role of digital services in customers' daily lives as well as the growth in the need for reliable and high-quality connectivity.
This growth is inseparable from Indosat's AI hyper-personalization strategy, which focuses on providing customers with more relevant, tailored, and meaningful customer experiences.
"This solid early year performance illustrates our consistency in executing our strategy and delivering real value to customers," said President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, in a statement quoted Monday, May 4.
To support this growth, Indosat continues to improve the 5G network to provide a smoother experience for customers, while enabling AI-based capabilities for more personalized services.
At the same time, Indosat is also expanding its presence in home connectivity services through HiFi Air, in response to the increasing need for more flexible and easily accessible internet solutions outside of mobile services.
The company also continues to strengthen customer trust and security through AI-based features such as anti-spam and anti-scam solutions. In addition, Indosat also scored an important milestone with the launch of the Sahabat-AI application.
At the same time, Indosat continues to strengthen AI infrastructure through the NeoCloud platform, which provides access to high-performance and scalable computing capabilities to support the growing demand for AI workloads.
Going forward, Indosat will continue to focus on maintaining growth momentum by increasing customer engagement, expanding network capabilities, and expanding innovation through data and AI.
