Internal Conflict of Melali Management Leads to Alleged Immigration Manipulation, Risking Disruption of Operations

JAKARTA - The internal controversy at PT Melali Management and Consultancy has evolved into a serious issue that has the potential to impact the company's operations and reputation.

The conflict is now leading to alleged administrative engineering of immigration involving foreign workers.

This case came to light after there were allegations of issuing Exit Permits Only (EPO) illegally through the MOLINA system.

Former employee of the company Zen Isa Kresna allegedly took advantage of a system loophole to apply for EPO without authority.

Not only that, there are indications of the use of invalid documents and flight ticket data to Adelaide, Australia, dated March 3, 2026.

The scheme is alleged to have been aimed at placing the company's director, Jake Seaforth Mackenzie, in an overstay status that could have resulted in fines and deportation.

Jake's lawyer, Nikolas Johan Kilikily, said this issue was high risk for the sustainability of the business.

"If EPO runs without the knowledge of our clients, then the consequences can disrupt the company's activities," he said.

Internal data shows that the EPO submission was entered into the Immigration Directorate General system on February 25, 2026.

However, management ensured that it had never submitted or approved the request.

The company has filed an official cancellation with immigration authorities.

In addition, potential criminal violations such as document forgery and misuse of electronic systems are also being studied.

Analysts assess that if it is not resolved immediately, this case can have an impact on the trust of business partners as well as the operational stability of the company, especially in the management of foreign workers.
