Pertamina Raises Prices of Non-subsidized Fuel Starting Today: Pertamax Turbo Breaks Rp19,900 per Liter

JAKARTA - Pertamina through Pertamina Patra Niaga has adjusted the price of some Non-subsidized Fuel Oil (BBM) products which will be effective starting May 4, 2026.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV. Dumatubun explained that this adjustment was carried out as part of a periodic evaluation based on the economic mechanism, taking into account the dynamics of world crude oil prices, the prices of processed products in the international market, and the fluctuations in the rupiah exchange rate.

"Some products have adjusted prices, while others are still maintained to maintain a balance between business aspects and public interests," he said in a statement to the media.

List of Adjustments in the Price of Non-Subsidiary Retail Fuel through SPBU as of May 4, 2026:

- Pertamax (RON 92): Rp12,300 per liter (unchanged)

- Pertamax Green 95 (RON 95): Rp12,900 per liter (unchanged)

- Pertamax Turbo (RON 98): from Rp19,400 per liter to Rp19,900 per liter

- Dexlite (CN 51): from Rp23,600 per liter to Rp26,000 per liter

- Pertamina Dex (CN 53): from Rp. 23,900 per liter to Rp. 27,900 per liter

"Non-subsidized products in principle follow the economic price and refer to the applicable provisions and regulations. However, as a state-owned enterprise that carries out the strategic mandate of the state, Pertamina not only considers business aspects alone, but also pays attention to the current conditions in society, the purchasing power of customers in the Non-Subsidiary Fuel Group, and national stability," said Roberth.

In its implementation, continued Roberth, Pertamina Patra Niaga also considered various other factors, including socio-economic conditions, as well as the need to maintain a conducive situation in the midst of the current evolving dynamics.

"This step reflects our commitment to maintaining a balance between business sustainability and national interests. Pertamina as an extension of the Government's hand also maintains and creates a conducive condition with price adjustments that remain competitive compared to other business entities. Therefore, not all products experience price adjustments, some are still maintained to remain competitive and relevant to community needs," he added.

Roberth emphasized that Non-Subsidiary Fuel is intended for customer segments that follow the market mechanism.

"However, Pertamina Patra Niaga still prioritizes the principle of caution so that the price policy remains measured and in line with community conditions," said Roberth.
