Princess Charlotte Turns 11, Kate and Prince William Share Rare Video
JAKARTA - Princess Charlotte turned 11 years old on Saturday, May 2. Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated by sharing a new video of their daughter on Instagram.
According to a People report quoted on Saturday, May 2, the video shows Charlotte in a relaxed atmosphere. She seemed to be playing on the beach, running barefoot, hugging the family dog, and playing cricket in the sand.
"Thank you for the beautiful birthday wishes for Princess Charlotte," Kate and William wrote in the post. "Today she is 11 years old!"
In the video, Charlotte is seen stroking the two Welsh family cocker spaniels, Orla and Otto. She also appears to hug one of the dogs on the boat.
In another scene, Charlotte composes a message with a seashell on the beach.
Charlotte is the middle child of the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales. She has an older brother, Prince George, 12, and a younger brother, Prince Louis, 8.
Before sharing the video, William and Kate also uploaded a new portrait of Charlotte. The photo was taken by photographer Matt Porteous.
In the photo, Charlotte is seen standing in a meadow and surrounded by flowers.
"May Charlotte have a very happy 11th birthday!" William and Kate wrote in the Instagram post.
