Darmizal: Jokowi Encourage the Strengthening of the Asta Cita Government of Prabowo-Gibran
JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, held a get-together with 157 volunteer and YouTuber leaders who helped deliver the victory of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair in the 2024 Presidential Election.
The meeting took place in a warm and family atmosphere in the Rawamangun area, East Jakarta last weekend.
The activities packaged in the momentum of the 1447 H Idulfitri Halal Bihalal became an event of nostalgia and moral consolidation for volunteers. The event was initiated by the RJ2 Juang House and took place in a familiar atmosphere, full of dialogue, and reflection on the nation's journey.
On this occasion, Jokowi appeared in good condition, healthy, and full of energy. He said that his health condition had recovered to 99 percent and was optimistic that he could return to being fully active in the near future.
"God willing, in the near future I am ready to return to the field, greet people throughout Indonesia. I also miss meeting all our brothers. God willing, soon return to all corners of Indonesia, see the people's conditions directly," said Jokowi, quoted Sunday, May 3.
This statement was enthusiastically welcomed by volunteers who saw Jokowi's presence as a moral energy for the continuity of national leadership.
He emphasized his desire to return to interacting directly with the public in all corners of the country, from Sabang to Merauke, Miangas to Rote Island. As part of the commitment to maintain the closeness of leaders with the people.
The event, moderated by HM Darmizal, General Chair of ReJO for Prabowo-Gibran, lasted about 3.5 hours, starting after Friday prayers, followed by lunch and an open discussion.
In the forum, all volunteers agreed to continue to monitor and ensure the success of the government's strategic agenda, especially the implementation of President Prabowo's Asta Cita, which includes eight priority agendas for national development, including; strengthening food and energy sovereignty, bureaucratic reform and law enforcement, improving the quality of education and health, industrial downstream and economic independence, strengthening national defense and security, equitable development to lagging areas, digital transformation and technological innovation, strengthening national unity and social stability.
Even though they showed full support, the volunteers also conveyed an objective view that there were still a number of programs that needed to be improved so that the implementation of Asta Cita was more optimal and targeted.
Several corrective points that emerged in the gathering included: accelerating the implementation of policies in the field, so that it is not hampered by technical bureaucracy. Synchronization of the center and the regions, especially in national strategic projects, the synchronization of government public communications, to prevent disinformation. Accuracy of social program targets, so that the benefits are felt directly by the lower classes and the consistency of legal reforms, to maintain public confidence.
HM Darmizal emphasized that the record was not a form of destructive criticism, but a constructive contribution to ensure that the government ran effectively.
"Volunteers do not need to over-argue about shortcomings. Our task is to ensure that this government succeeds. Because the success of the government is the success of the Indonesian people," said Darmizal.
This meeting also reaffirmed the importance of solidity and loyalty to national leadership as the foundation of state stability. The volunteers agreed that sustainable development can only be achieved through synergy between the government and all elements of society without barriers.
"With the spirit of togetherness and optimism, this meeting is a symbol of continuity between the previous national leadership and the current government, in order to ensure that Indonesia continues to progress as a developed, sovereign, and prosperous nation," concluded this UGM alumnus.
