Police Arrest Seller of Hard Drugs Disguised as Cosmetic Shop in Tanjung Priok 

JAKARTA - The Tanjung Priok Port Narcotics Investigation Unit secured a seller of illegal drugs on the G list without a permit on Jalan Bakti Raya, RT002/RW003, Kebon Bawang Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

The suspect with the initials AW (28) is from North Aceh.

Head of Narcotics Police at Tanjung Priok Port Police, AKP Habibie, said the arrest began when the operational members of the Narcotics Police received information from the public regarding the circulation of dangerous drugs (List G) around the Tanjung Priok Port area, North Jakarta and its surroundings.

"272 pieces of excimer, 209 pieces of tramadol, 121 Trihexyphenidyl and 121 Alprazolam were seized as evidence," said AKP Habibie when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, May 3, 2026.

In addition to confiscating dangerous drugs, the police also secured 1 mobile phone and cash of Rp. 1.5 million.

"The suspect AW played the role of a seller of G-listed drugs," he said.

The arrest of the perpetrator began after the operational team conducted an observation in the Rawa Badak, Tugu Utara and Kebon Bawang Kelurahan areas, North Jakarta.

Then the team found a cosmetics store with an address on Jalan Bakti, Kebon Bawang.

"The perpetrators and the evidence were taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police for further investigation and investigation," he said.
