Finally Extinction After Rachel / Febi Lost, Uber Indonesia Team's Step Stopped in the Semifinal

JAKARTA - The Uber Indonesia team stopped in the semifinals and had to admit the toughness of the South Korean team with a score of 1-3.

In the fourth match of the semifinal round which took place at the Forum Horsens, Horsens, Saturday night WIB, the Indonesian women's doubles Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum crashed in the hands of the Korean pair Jeong Na Eun/Kim Hye Jeong two straight games 16-21 and 18-21.

Starting the first game, Rachel/Febi appeared so stressed facing Jeong/Kim's fast game.

Jeong/Kim could record seven consecutive points to take a 7-0 lead. Slowly but surely, Rachel/Febi could continue to narrow the gap to the middle of the set to 12-16.

However, Rachel/Febi's game can still be guessed by the solid defense of Jeong/Kim. Jeong/Kim finally closed the victory in the first game with 21-16.

In the second game, Rachel/Febi still had trouble getting out of Jeong/Kim's pressure.

Jeong/Kim who dictated the game was able to record four consecutive points to lead by six points, 11-5.

Rachel/Febi immediately tried to implement aggressive play in the middle of the second game and was able to reverse the position to 16-15.

Unfortunately, the advantage achieved by Rachel/Febi did not last long because they lost concentration at the end of the game. Rachel/Febi finally surrendered with 18-21.

Previously, Indonesia lost points after Putri Kusuma Wardani had to admit the toughness of South Korea's An Se Young in two straight games 19-21 and 5-21.

Then Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi admitted the toughness of the South Korean doubles Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee through the rubber drama 16-21, 21-19 and 15-21.

Then Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan raised the hope of the Red and White team after overcoming the fierce resistance of South Korean singles Sim Yu Jin with identical scores of 21-19 and 21-19.

This defeat of the Uber Indonesia team also made the Indonesian badminton team ensured to fast for the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup 2026 titles.
