BRImo Users Reach 47.8 Million Users

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) reported that the growth of BRImo Super Apps users reached 47.8 million users or increased 18.6 percent yoy as of March 2026.

Director of Network & Retail Funding BRI Aquarius Rudianto said the high number of BRImo users not only reflected the expansion of BRI's digital service reach, but also showed the increasing public confidence in using BRImo services for daily transaction needs.

"The increase in the use of BRImo itself is reflected in the value of BRImo transaction volume which shows a significant increase," he said, Saturday, May 2.

Meanwhile, the value of BRImo transaction volume until the first quarter of 2026 reached Rp2,042.2 trillion, or increased 29.4 percent year-on-year (yoy) compared to the position in March 2025.

"With more than 100 features available, BRImo continues to be developed to support various transaction needs, so as to encourage the increased use of this service," said Aquarius Rudianto.

On the other hand, BRImo's significant growth performance also had a positive impact on the growth of BRI's third-party funds (DPK) which increased 9.4 percent year-on-year, so that BRI's total DPK reached IDR 1,555.1 trillion.

In terms of composition, the quality of funding is also getting stronger, reflected by the increasing proportion of cheap funds (CASA) to 68.07 percent in the first quarter of 2026 or equivalent to Rp. 1,058.6 trillion, from the previous 65.77 percent in the first quarter of 2025. In a year, BRI's CASA growth reached Rp. 123.7 trillion.

The strengthening of CASA then encourages cost efficiency of funds. On the funding side, the cost of funds decreased from 3 percent to 2.3 percent. This shows the effectiveness of BRI's strategy in strengthening CASA and managing a more efficient funding structure, thus providing better room for future margins.

The increase in digital transaction activity and the strengthening of funding also support the overall growth of BRI's business. Until the first quarter of 2026, BRI's total assets now reached IDR 2,250 trillion or grew 7.2 percent year-on-year. In addition, BRI financing showed solid growth, with total credit and financing increasing by 13.7 percent year-on-year to IDR 1,562 trillion.

In the same period, with strong business fundamentals amid industry dynamics, supported by selective credit growth, increasingly efficient fund cost management, and asset quality remained maintained, BRI managed to record consolidated net profit of IDR 15.5 trillion or grew 13.7 percent year-on-year.
