JAKARTA - KAI Logistik has won a prestigious award at the 2026 Indonesia Human Capital Awards held by WartaEkonomi.co.id. The company won the category "The Best Human Capital 2026 for Ensuring Employee Safety through Respectful Workplace Policies" in the sub-category of Logistics & Supply Chain Service Provider. The award was received directly by the Director of Finance of KAI Logistik, Prihanto Herbowo, at an event held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at the Aryaduta Menteng Hotel, Jakarta.

Indonesia Human Capital Awards 2026 is an annual appreciation event initiated by WartaEkonomi.co.id Research and Consulting as a form of recognition for the strategic role of Human Capital (HC) in promoting corporate competitiveness and national economic growth. This year, the award carries the theme "Elevating Workforce Capability: Building People-Driven, Future-Ready Organizations", which highlights best practices in workforce capability development, strengthening adaptive organizational culture, and creating sustainable talent management systems.

"This award is an appreciation and a great responsibility for the company. We believe that healthy, safe, skilled, and ethical human resources are the main foundation of business sustainability. In the future, we will continue to strengthen an inclusive work culture and prioritize safety, because we believe that a superior company is a company that is able to place human resources as strategic assets, not just as production resources," said Prihanto.

This award is a tangible proof of KAI Logistics' commitment to building a strong, inclusive, and sustainable human resource governance. Through a comprehensive assessment process by a research team that includes various dimensions, such as Workforce Management, Leadership Involvement in Talent Development, Workforce Readiness, People Sustainability, and Digital People Enablement, KAI Logistics is judged to be able to demonstrate a structured, progressive, and future-oriented approach.

In addition, the company is also considered to have successfully implemented the Respectful Workplace Policy (RWP) which guarantees equality in the recruitment and career development process without discrimination, by obtaining training opportunities that are in line with business needs. In terms of occupational safety, KAI Logistics prioritizes strict K3 standards through the use of PPE and regular training, and has obtained the SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification.

On the digital side, the development of the Human Capital System (HCS), Rail Document System (RDS), as well as the integration of technologies such as RFID, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Transportation Management System (TMS) also strengthen operational efficiency and long-term organizational resilience.

"This award is an encouragement for KAI Logistics to continue to improve the quality of human resource management sustainably. We are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and adaptive work environment, along with efforts to strengthen the company's digital transformation. With this step, KAI Logistics is optimistic that it can continue to provide added value for customers, support the growth of the national logistics industry, and create a positive impact for all stakeholders," concluded Prihanto.
