Wearing a Prosthetic Mask, Fergie Brittany Suffers a Panic Attack and Has Difficulty Eating in the AIN Film

JAKARTA - Actress Fergie Brittany revealed an extremely extreme struggle behind her role as Joy in the body horror film "AIN". She had to wear a prosthetic mask that covered her entire face, an experience that drained her physically and mentally.

"Honestly, this is my experience, I really have this much screentime with this much prosthetics," said Fergie in South Jakarta, Wednesday, April 29.

He said the process of installing the mask was very complicated. "It's really a mask that is attached," he added.

One of the most frightening moments he experienced was when he had to perform a scene in the water. His prosthetic mask actually became a "trap" that almost drowned him.

"It was really when I got into the water, the water went into the mask. So I had a panic attack," he recalled.

"I'm out of the water but the water is still on my face, what's the story?" he continued, describing his panic at the time.

In addition to panic attacks, the mask also makes it very difficult for him to eat. "His mouth is open just like this. So I technically can't eat," he said.

He also had to be fed by his co-star, Putri Ayudya, with soft foods that could enter through the small gap in his mask.

Not only physically, his mental condition is also affected. Every time he sees his reflection in the mirror with the mask, he feels a psychological burden.

"Seeing it on the glass, it was like I was carried away," he admitted.
