Antam Posts Net Profit of IDR 3.66 Trillion in Q1-2026
PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (ANTM) recorded a net profit of IDR 3.66 trillion in the first quarter of 2026 or jumped 58 percent from the same period last year (yoy).
Antam President Director Untung Budiharto said this financial performance was driven by increasingly strong operational fundamentals, reflected by the optimal nickel segment performance, strengthening gold sourcing to maintain supply continuity.
"It is also encouraged to start operating the alumina grade smelter (SGA) plant which strengthens the growth of the bauxite and alumina segments," said Untung, Wednesday, April 29.
He added, Antam also recorded a 55 percent growth in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA), with a 1Q26 EBITDA of IDR 5.05 trillion, compared to IDR 3.26 trillion in the previous year.
Antam's profitability growth in the first quarter was reflected in gross profit of IDR 5.62 trillion, an increase of 54 percent from the previous year's IDR 3.64 trillion.
In line with this, the operating profit in the first quarter of 2026 reached IDR 4.50 trillion, growing 67 percent from IDR 2.69 trillion in the same period last year. This performance was also supported by an increase in other income of 15 percent to IDR 279.60 billion, from the previous IDR 243.64 billion.
This improvement in performance also contributed to an increase in net profit per basic share to Rp141.77 per basic share, or an increase of 60 percent compared to Rp88.69 per basic share in the same period last year.
In the financial position report, Antam recorded total assets of IDR 63.30 trillion or increased 31 percent from IDR 48.30 trillion in the same period last year.
Then the equity value also increased by 17 percent to Rp40.41 trillion, from Rp34.62 trillion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents were recorded at IDR 9.04 trillion, up 31 percent year-on-year, reflecting the Company's financial flexibility in supporting operational needs and business development.
