BTS Holds 5 Weeks on Billboard Hot 100 with Two Songs
BTS has again recorded strong achievements on the US charts. Two songs from their fifth studio album, "Arirang", have been on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.
Quoted from Yonhap, Wednesday, April 29, the chart announced Tuesday US time placed "Swim" in position No. 22. Meanwhile, "Body To Body" is in position No. 95.
"Swim" previously debuted at No. 1. After that, the song was at No. 2, No. 5, and No. 10, before dropping to No. 22 in the fifth week.
"Body To Body" also stayed on the Hot 100 for five weeks. The song first entered the charts at No. 25.
The Billboard Hot 100 is often an important measure to see the performance of songs in the American music market. Therefore, staying five weeks on the list remains a big achievement for K-pop artists.
Other K-pop names also appeared on this week's list. "Golden", the song from the original soundtrack of the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters", is in 9th place and has been around for 44 consecutive weeks.
The song "Dracula" from the Australian psychedelic rock project Tame Impala, featuring Jennie BLACKPINK in a remix version, is at No. 16.
Meanwhile, Katseye's "Pinky Up" took the No. 49 spot.
