PTPP Optimistic to Complete Aceh People's School Project on Time, Progress Achievement Exceeds Target
JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) recorded a solid performance acceleration in the implementation of the Aceh 1 Provincial People's School Project with progress achievements that exceeded the target. This performance strengthens PTPP's optimism in completing the project on time, while confirming the company's capacity as the main contractor in supporting the development of educational infrastructure initiated by the Ministry of Public Works as part of support for the government's Asta Cita program.
The project with a contract value of IDR 782.30 billion has reached 39.02 percent progress, surpassing the target of 7.35 percent. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of measurable planning and construction implementation, as well as PTPP's ability to consistently maintain job productivity in the field.
As a strategic project spread across three regions - Aceh Besar, Bireuen, and Lhokseumawe - the development includes approximately 23 buildings at each location with a height of 1 to 2 floors. The scale and complexity of the project encourages the implementation of integrated cross-regional coordination and precise material distribution management to ensure the smooth running of all stages of work.
To maintain the acceleration of progress, PTPP implements various construction innovations, including the use of GRC formwork as an alternative to brick formwork, the application of rigid pavement methods, the substitution of reinforced concrete structures to steel structures, and the utilization of material distribution tracking systems. These innovations have proven effective in increasing efficiency while accelerating project completion time.
The development of the Aceh 1 Provincial People's School is expected to provide a modern, safe, and sustainable educational facility for the community. In addition, this project also contributes to improving the quality of human resources and encouraging local economic activity through the absorption of labor and the utilization of local resources.
PTPP Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, said that the achievement of progress beyond the target was a tangible proof of the effectiveness of project implementation.
"This achievement strengthens our optimism to complete the project on time while maintaining the forefront of quality and work safety. Together with the Ministry of Public Works, PTPP is committed to ensuring that every stage of work runs optimally and provides real benefits for the community," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, April 28.
With the progress that continues to be maintained and exceeds the target, PTPP is optimistic that the Aceh 1 Provincial People's School Project can be completed according to schedule and become one of the forms of success in the development of quality educational infrastructure in Indonesia.
