PPIH Saudi Arabia Holds a Meeting to Discuss the Preparation of the Hajj Summit in Armuzna
JAKARTA - Saudi Arabia's Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) held a first coordination meeting to discuss the operational preparation of the peak of the hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina or Armuzna.
The first Armuzna Coordination Meeting took place at the Makkah Regional Office (Daker), Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday (28/4/2026). The meeting was led by the Head of the Transport Division of the PPIH Saudi Arabia, Syarif Rahman, along with the leaders in each field, including the Protection of the Congregation (Linjam), Armuzna, the Elderly and Disabled (Landis), and Transportation.
"We must ensure maximum service to the pilgrims, therefore officers must prepare all aspects to the maximum," said Syarif as quoted by ANTARA.
The Saudi PPIH ensures that all technical aspects of the implementation of the 1447 H/2026 M Hajj will be prepared as much as possible, therefore coordination meetings are held periodically to ensure the development of preparations.
A number of aspects were discussed in the meeting, ranging from the readiness of transportation facilities, including the number of buses prepared to carry pilgrims, bus schedules and terminal readiness, to ensuring transportation for elderly and disabled pilgrims using wheelchairs.
In the case, the issue of the Jamaah Protection Service (Linjam) was also discussed to ensure the security of the implementation of the hajj and the smooth operation, as well as protection for the hajj pilgrims.
Then, the report also ensures the readiness of health services for pilgrims, such as the readiness of health workers, emergency medical treatment schemes, to strengthening monitoring of elderly and high-risk pilgrims (risti).
The flow of movement of pilgrims, the suitability of facilities with the schedule of worship and the movement of pilgrims, to the readiness of Hajj officers also became important highlights in the report.
