Including, there were three who were originally trapped that we could evacuate and are still being treated in hospital," said AHY in an audio statement shared by the Public Relations of the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure, Tuesday, April 28.

"Of course, once again we are trying our best to handle it medically, so that we can save the brothers who are still being treated at this time," he said.

Previously, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi or KDM ensured that all victims who died as a result of the Argo Bromo Anggrek train and KRL collision at East Bekasi Station, Bekasi City, would receive a compensation of Rp50 million each.

This was revealed by KDM in a video message on his official Instagram account @dedimulyadi71, Tuesday, April 28.

"The West Java Provincial Government will provide compensation to the deceased of Rp50 million each," said KDM.

In addition, KDM said, the West Java Provincial Government will also bear the cost of treating all victims of injuries due to the tragic incident.

"The West Java Provincial Government also bears the entire cost of hospital treatment for all the victims who are being treated," he said.

KDM also expressed condolences to all the victims in the train accident.

He hopes that the tragic event will not be repeated in the future.

"We express our deep condolences for the disaster of being hit by the Jakarta-Bekasi Regency KRL, which specifically carries female passengers by the Bromo Anggrek agro train (route) Jakarta-Surabaya. The KRL stopped because of a strike by an electric taxi on the railway track, resulting in the death of a victim and being treated in a hospital," said KDM.

"Hopefully this disaster is the last event. For this reason, please pray to all residents of West Java so that the families of the victims are blessed and can be patient in facing this disaster," he concluded.
