Celebrate Kartini Day and the 63rd Anniversary, TASPEN Distributes Social Assistance and Learning Facilities for Hundreds of Children in Foster Care

JAKARTA - In commemorating the 63rd Anniversary (HUT) and celebrating the spirit of Kartini Day, PT TASPEN (Persero) through the "Lentera Srikandi" initiative held a social action in the form of social assistance and learning facilities for more than 250 orphanage children spread across 13 cities in Indonesia. TASPEN women leaders, often known as Srikandi women, directly provide education on child violence prevention (stop bullying) and character strengthening for hundreds of orphanage children.

This action was strengthened by the presence of the TASPEN female board of directors, including the Director of Human Resources and Information Technology of TASPEN, Ovita Susiana Rosya at the Insan Cita 165 Tanjung Pinang Children's Home, and the Director of Compliance and Risk Management of TASPEN, Diyantini Soesilowati at the Peduli Kasih KNDJH Children's Home Malang on Wednesday, April 22. The active involvement of the women at the managerial level to the Branch Manager is a symbol of an empathetic and solution-oriented leadership for the young generation of the nation.

TASPEN Corporate Secretary, Henra, said that the Lentera Srikandi activity is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to providing sustainable social value for the community.

"Through Lentera Srikandi, TASPEN wants to present more than just financial assistance. Through the presence of TASPEN's Srikandi, we bring a message of courage and confidence to children in orphanages. TASPEN believes that character education, such as understanding of bullying and gender equality, is an important resource for them to become a strong golden generation," said Henra, in a statement, Monday, April 27.

In addition to distributing basic necessities, learning tools, and orphanage infrastructure, this activity was also filled with an interactive sharing session. The materials presented include early education on the dangers of bullying (bullying) and concrete steps to deal with it. Through this interaction, the Srikandi TASPEN motivates children to remain brave in their dreams in the midst of limitations, while instilling the values of mutual respect and the principle of equality for every individual.

On the 62nd anniversary, TASPEN through the "Cerita Ibu Srikandi TASPEN for Indonesian Children" program presents an inspiring activity in the form of a reading session of motivational story books to children in PAUD and TK in 17 Branch Offices.
