Vivo X500 Series Leaks Appear, Prepare Advanced Cameras and Compact Flagship Variants

JAKARTA - The Vivo X500 Series has started to be widely discussed ahead of its launch, which is expected to take place in China in September 2026. Based on the latest leak from the famous tipster Digital Chat Station, Vivo's latest flagship line is said to come in three different models, including one compact flagship variant that brings high-end camera capabilities.

The information also reveals the initial details of one of the models suspected of being the Vivo X500 Pro.

According to the leak, Vivo is preparing a device with the position "Pro Mini", which is likely to be part of the X500 Series family. Although the brand name is not explicitly mentioned, the specifications revealed strongly point to Vivo's latest flagship line.

The device is rumored to be equipped with a new generation flagship chipset based on 2nm fabrication, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera with an ultra-large sensor with LOFIC technology. In addition, Vivo is also said to have improved the capabilities of the periscope telephoto camera on this model.

The chipset in question is expected to be the Dimensity 9600, MediaTek's latest high-end processor that has not been officially announced.

Three Screen Sizes, from Compact to Jumbo

In a follow-up discussion, Digital Chat Station hinted that the series will come in three screen sizes: small, medium, and large.

This opens up the possibility that the compact flagship variant will carry a screen of around 6.4 inches, while the mid-range model is likely to be in the range of 6.5 inches. For the largest model, the screen is estimated to reach 6.9 inches or 6.85 inches.

This approach shows Vivo's strategy to reach more user preferences, from lovers of compact smartphones to those who need a large screen for productivity and entertainment.

If true, the compact variant could be the answer for a market that has started to look at small-sized flagship phones but still has power.

X500 Pro Max is said to carry a 200MP camera

Meanwhile, the large screen model is expected to be marketed under the name Vivo X500 Pro Max. This variant is said to carry the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, a large screen, and a three-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel LOFIC main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The configuration confirms Vivo's focus on the mobile photography sector, which has been the main identity of the X series for the past few years. The standard model of the Vivo X500 is said to potentially use the 3nm-based Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset.

Although all of this information is still a rumor, the development direction of the Vivo X500 Series shows significant improvement, especially in the camera and performance efficiency sectors.
