realme C100 Officially Introduced, Carrying 8000mAh Battery and Ready to Launch in Indonesia May 7, 2026

JAKARTA - realme is strengthening its position in the Indonesian smartphone market by introducing the realme C100, a new device that carries an 8000mAh battery capacity. This phone is said to be the first in its segment with such a battery capacity, as well as marking the company's new strategy in presenting devices for heavy use throughout the day.

The official launch of the realme C100 Series is scheduled for May 7, 2026. According to the company, this device is designed to meet the needs of modern users who are increasingly dependent on smartphones for various activities, ranging from entertainment, navigation, communication, to work.

In its official statement, realme confirmed that this product is a symbol of "The New Era of Heavy-Usage Endurance", a new era of smartphones with extreme durability for intensive use.

"As a Battery Tech Pioneer, realme continues to innovate by presenting and realizing technology that is relevant to users. The realme C100 is our step in setting a new standard in its segment through a combination of a large 8000mAh battery and high durability to meet the needs of college students across Indonesia," said Krisva Angnieszca, Public Relations Lead realme Indonesia.

realme assesses that there is a gap between consumers' need for large batteries and the power-saving solutions currently available. Therefore, the C100 comes as an answer for users with high mobility, including students, field workers, and commuters.

8000mAh battery

One of the main attractions of the realme C100 is the use of a 8000mAh capacity Titan Battery. realme claims this capacity is about 14 percent larger than competitors in the same class.

With the battery, the realme C100 is claimed to be able to deliver more than 11 hours of online gaming, more than 24 hours of video streaming, and more than 20 hours of GPS navigation in one charge.

Not only large capacity, realme also emphasizes the aspect of long-term endurance. The company says this battery is designed to maintain more than 80 percent battery health after seven years of use, with support for up to 1,600 charging cycles.

The figure is claimed to be twice the EU standard and exceeds the average smartphone industry in the entry-level class.

To support security, this device is equipped with the Titan Battery Safety System which has undergone extreme temperature testing, physical impact, and overcharge.

In addition, the realme C100 also comes with AI Power Saving, a feature that works automatically to adjust background activity, refresh rate, video processing, to screen configuration.

realme says this feature can save around 450mAh of power per day, equivalent to an additional two hours of battery life.

Ready to be Launched in Early May

Ahead of its launch, the realme C100 has obtained certification from AnTuTu as Global No.1 in All-Day Heavy Usage Test.

In the test, the device recorded a battery life of 10 hours on a heavy use simulation that includes playing games, live streaming, navigation, video calls, social media, music playback, and AI-based interactions.

This recognition from AnTuTu strengthens realme's claim that the C100 is a smartphone with a main focus on power endurance in real use.

The launch event for the realme C100 Series will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 15.30 WIB via live streaming on the official YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok channels of realme Indonesia.

During the event, realme will introduce three models at once from the C100 Series line, including price details, variants, and various sales promotions.

With specifications that focus on large batteries, AI efficiency, and long-term durability, the realme C100 is predicted to be one of the devices that will attract attention in the affordable smartphone segment this year.
