Benjamin Netanyahu's Corruption Trial Suddenly Canceled 90 Minutes Before It Was Held
JAKARTA - The trial of the corruption case that ensnared Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu was suddenly canceled about 90 minutes before it was tried.
Citing The Jerusalem Post, in a hearing that was originally scheduled for Monday, April 27 local time, Netanyahu is scheduled to testify.
However, based on Netanyahu's lawyer's request, Amit Hadad, the hearing was canceled today or postponed for another day.
Netanyahu's legal team cited the prime minister's "security schedule" when requesting a postponement of the hearing.
Hadad said further details would be provided to the court and prosecutors in a closed filing.
Netanyahu's corruption trial with the agenda of giving testimony from the extreme right-wing Israeli politician has been repeatedly canceled suddenly from the predetermined schedule.
