Accused of Cheating, Megan Thee Stallion Breaks Up with Basketballer Klay Thompson

JAKARTA - Months after going public, rapper Megan Thee Stallion announced her breakup with her partner, Klay Thompson. According to his statement, he did not accept being cheated on by the basketball player.

"I made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan Thee Stallion wrote in her statement, citing People.

"Trust, loyalty, and respect are non-negotiables for me in a relationship and when those values are compromised, there is no surefire way forward," he said.

The 31-year-old singer then continued with, "I took the time to prioritize myself and continue to live peacefully."

The statement was released hours after he wrote on Instagram Story. He said Klay Thompson cheated on him and needed time to rest after this.

"Cheating, having me at your house... feeling insecure. Taking care of you through all the mood swings and attitude you had on me during basketball season, now you don't know if you can be monogamous???? I need a real break after this... that's all," wrote Megan Thee Stallion.

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have been showing their relationship for the past few months. Thee Stallion even gifted a Bentley car in February.

"I never asked everyone to have a relationship and I never felt like it. I also didn't know I would be in a relationship, honestly. This is one of the relationships where I feel comfortable," said Megan Thee Stallion some time ago.

Klay Thompson is an NBA basketball player known for his various achievements. He is the son of NBA legend Mychal Thompson.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion made her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge.
