Positive Cases Of COVID-19 At Ponpes Bina Madani Bogor Increases To 65 People
BOGOR - Positive cases of COVID-19 at the Bina Madani Islamic Boarding School in Harjasari Village, Bogor City, West Java, increased to 65 cases. Additional positive cases based on the results of the PCR swab test with an additional 33 cases.
Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto said that from the PCR swab test conducted by the Health Service on 421 students and administrators of the Bina Madani Islamic Boarding School, the results were known on Monday today. "There are 33 people who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, June 7.
According to Bima Arya, the 33 people who were positive for COVID-19 had been evacuated to the Bogor City COVID-19 Isolation Center at the BPKP Training Center building in Ciawi Bogor.
Previously, there were 24 students at the Islamic boarding school who were evacuated to the BPKP Pusdiklat Building from 32 students who were confirmed positive for COVID-19. Eight other students are self-isolating in their respective homes.
According to Bima Arya, the Bina Madani Islamic Boarding School was temporarily closed starting Sunday, June 6, after it was discovered that 32 of its students were confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (5/6), until all of them recovered and were healthy.
The Bogor City COVID-19 Handling Task Force has also established a Joint Command Post at the Islamic boarding school to supervise activities inside the boarding school while ensuring that health protocols are implemented properly.
"This boarding school is temporarily closed completely. There is no entry and exit activity at this boarding school. People temporarily inside cannot leave and people outside temporarily cannot enter," he said.
According to Bima Arya, activities in Islamic boarding schools are also limited. Everyone in the Islamic boarding school is required to wear a mask, keep a distance, wash diligently, and avoid crowds.
The need for food and other logistics for the students and boarding school administrators, Bima Arya stated, has assigned Perumda Pasar Pakuan Jaya (PPJ) to help supply them.
Previously, the Health Service through the local Puskesmas conducted an antigen swab test to 398 students at the Islamic boarding school, on Thursday and Friday (3-4/6), the results were 32 students tested positive for COVID-19.
Of this number, 24 students were evacuated to the COVID-19 Isolation Center at the BPKP Training Center Building in Ciawi Bogor, while eight other students were brought by their parents to undergo independent isolation in their respective homes.
An antigen swab test was carried out, in preparation for the implementation of face-to-face learning (PTM) proposed by the board of the boarding school.
