Shocked to be registered for Hajj since elementary school, Bali's youngest pilgrim admits he is worried about the first to the Holy Land

JAKARTA - One of the young prospective pilgrims from Bali admitted that he was surprised because when he was in elementary school, he was registered for Hajj to replace his father.

"At that time I didn't know, because I was still a child, I was just invited to the office, where it was for a photo, to make all kinds of photos, taken care of by my mother, so at first I knew this was a shock," said prospective pilgrim 2026 Dhani Aditya Saputra in Denpasar, Saturday, quoted by Antara.

Dhani himself is currently 17 years old, he is the second youngest pilgrim from Bali who was released by the Bali Provincial Government and the Bali Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) as a representative because the youngest pilgrim was unable to attend.

Dhani said he didn't know when he was 12 years old that his mother registered him as the first boy to go on the hajj in place of his father who was not ready to leave.

Until finally five years later, the Bali Ministry of Religion announced that her name and her mother were included in the Bali Hajj quota of 698 people.

Because he is still young, the teenager from Badung Regency admitted that he was worried about his first experience stepping foot on this holy land.

"I hear that the hajj is not as short as the umrah, which is two weeks, if the hajj is up to 40 days, I am surprised that it will be long there, then what will happen to the body condition, then what will the weather be like there, I don't know, I have never umrah but immediately the hajj, that's why I'm surprised, while people who have umrah may already know, wow, how will it be later," he said.

However, Dhani Aditya ensured that he was ready with a number of mental, physical, and knowledge preparations.

"For the physical, it must also be properly maintained, diet, health, daily life, sports are important later for as long as they are there, so it has been prepared from several months ago," he said.

He conveyed the determination for this worship in Mecca was also for his mother, he ensured that although his father could not join him, he would take care of his mother throughout the hajj journey.

Moreover, he has always been a child close to his mother, every day besides going to school he is also active in helping his mother and father work.

"For mom, healthy there, we will worship together, take care of physical condition, long life, basically for mom," he said with tears.

During the worship, the high school class 3 student admitted that there was no problem regarding his education, because his mother was a teacher at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar where he was studying so that he had processed his permit.

Dhani Aditya also received a lot of support from friends at school to parents of students who also hope to perform the hajj someday.
