Bulog Director General Assures Availability of Minyakita at Medan Ama Market

MEDAN - Deputy President Director (Wadirut) of Perum Bulog Marga Taufiq ensures the availability of Minyakita in a number of markets in Medan City, North Sumatra, in a safe condition.

"From monitoring, we ensure the availability of Minyakita in the Medan market is safe," said Marga when reviewing the Sei Sikambing Market in Medan, Saturday.

He said the Bulog North Sumatra team and its branches continued to monitor a number of markets to maintain the availability of Minyakita as one of the basic needs in the region.

Furthermore, he said that there were rumors of a shortage of Minyakita in the market after Lebaran 2026. However, his party continues to supply so that there is no shortage of cooking oil.

"In general, the national supply of Minyakita is ensured to remain smooth to maintain the stability of the availability of cooking oil in a number of regions," he said.

Regarding prices, he said that for the highest retail price (HET) in the market was Rp. 15,700 per liter or no price increase.

"For prices, we are also monitoring to match HET. In the Medan market, there is no price increase by retailers," he said.

He added that in the future, the supply of Minyakita will be increased in line with the results of monitoring in a number of markets so that availability is maintained.
