Iran has not optimized its missile capabilities against the US
JAKARTA - The Iranian Ministry of Defense stated that most of the country's missile capabilities have not been used in the war against the United States (US).
"Most of our missile capabilities are still unused," said Iranian Defense Ministry spokesman General RezaTalaei-Nik, quoted by ANTARA from Anadolu, Saturday, April 25.
He said Iranian forces remained in a superior position throughout the conflict.
"Our forces maintain full air supremacy over the Zionist (Israeli) occupation area and some of our missile capabilities were used during the 40-day war," he said.
Regarding the confrontation at sea, he claimed that the enemy's warships repeatedly retreated hundreds of kilometers from the Sea of Oman in response to the firm actions of Iranian forces.
Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has been seriously disrupted since the US and Israel began invading Iran since February 28. The US-Israeli war against Iran has shaken the global energy market and increased concerns about the long-term economic impact.
