Died, the Investigation of Siman Bahar Boss of Loco Montrado Officially Stopped by the KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially stopped investigating Siman Bahar alias Bong Kin Phin as President Director of PT Loco Montrado who died.
The decision was stated in a letter of termination of investigation (SP3) issued on Thursday, April 23.
Siman Bahar is a suspect in the corruption case of cooperation in the processing of metal anodes between PT Aneka Tambang (Antam), Tbk and PT Loco Montrado.
"The KPK has issued a Letter of Termination of Investigation (SP3) for suspect SB," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo through his written statement, Saturday, April 25.
Before this policy was issued, continued Budi, investigators had received a death certificate in the name of Siman Bahar.
"This SP3 has also been conveyed to the family," he said.
As previously reported, the KPK has named two people as suspects in the corruption case of cooperation in the processing of metal anodes between PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk and PT Loco Montrado. They are Siman Bahar and Dodi Martimbang (DM) as General Manager of the Processing Unit of PT Antam.
Dodi has now been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. Meanwhile, Siman Bahar has not been detained due to his health condition.
The status of the suspect Siman Bahar was dropped after the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) granted his pretrial lawsuit. However, the KPK again named Siman Bahar as a suspect for the second time.
