BPJS Employment Strengthens Supervision of Employer Compliance in North Jakarta

BPJS Employment Jakarta Cilincing together with the North Jakarta Administration Sub-Department of Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Sudin Nakertransgi) emphasized their commitment to improving cooperation in supervision and compliance checks for employers.

Head of the Jakarta Cilincing BPJS Employment Branch Office, Rita Mariana, emphasized that this cross-agency collaboration is a crucial step to ensure that workers' rights are protected in accordance with the mandate of the law.

"This collaboration is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that all workers receive employment social security protection. We strengthen synergy through integrated supervision, compliance checks, and intensive education to employers in the North Jakarta area," said Rita, in a statement, Friday, April 24.

One of the concrete steps taken is to call hundreds of employers from the foundation and education sectors on April 21-22, 2026, as an effort to close the neglected membership gap.

"We have called hundreds of employers from the foundation and school categories, to provide direct socialization regarding the benefits and obligations of membership, as well as encourage registration for those who have not registered," added Rita.

Through this effort, it is hoped that the employment ecosystem in North Jakarta, especially in the education sector, will be more aware of the importance of social security. Rita emphasized that this protection includes vital aspects, ranging from Occupational Accident Insurance (JKK) to Old Age Insurance (JHT).

In the future, BPJS Employment Cilincing and Sudin Nakertransgi North Jakarta will continue to carry out periodic monitoring. This enforcement of compliance is expected to be able to create a more orderly, fair working environment, and provide a sense of security for all workers in the area.
