Bluesky Now Can Upload High Quality Photos with 4K Resolution
JAKARTA - Bluesky has finally improved the quality of photos on its platform. Through the update of the 1.121 version of the application, Bluesky has increased its file size capacity and increased the resolution of its photos.
Now, the maximum size limit for uploading photos on the platform has been doubled to 2MB from the previous 1MB. In addition, the resolution of the photo display has also been increased to 4000 pixels to ensure that the image details are still well maintained.
"We have improved the quality of photos by doubling the maximum file size to 2MB and the resolution limit to 4000x4000," said Bluesky, quoted from its official account on Friday, April 24.
In addition to technical improvements, Bluesky also introduced a carousel feature that can be shifted to replace the old image grid system. This new feature allows various aspect ratios of photos to appear intact without any part being cut off by the system.
This improvement was launched so that Bluesky could compete more with X and Threads. With a more aesthetic appearance, Bluesky strives to remain the main platform for a community that prioritizes visual quality.
Even though it has been updated, some old users are reportedly still giving feedback to keep the option between the grid or carousel view. However, in general, this feature is welcomed because it makes it easier to share panoramic photos or large-sized images.
All of these updates have been released gradually to users in various parts of the world. Users need to update their applications to the latest version to enjoy all of these improvements.
