"So, the nature (of the request for attention) we coordinate with the Attorney General's Office Jamwas, the procedure is like that," said Head of the NTB Attorney General's Office Wahyudi in Mataram, Friday, April 24, reported by ANTARA.
The case inspection is a series of intensive inspection activities to follow up on alleged irregularities, especially those carried out by the Attorney General's Office employees. The results of the inspection will be officially stated in an inspection report.
Wahyudi explained that the results of the inspection of this case would later become the basis for the application of sanctions leading to the alleged violation of the prosecutor's discipline and ethics.
In the series of handling carried out under the NTB Attorney General's Supervision, he said, three prosecutors have been asked for information.
In addition, a number of evidence related to the alleged extortion of the Pajo Regent became the completeness of the examination. The evidence was obtained by the intelligence department from field data.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Dompu District Attorney's Office, Danny Curia Novitawan, previously explained that in handling this extortion case, his party still coordinates with the NTB Attorney General's Supervision Unit.
He said the Supervision Unit is now drafting a request for clarification to Pajo Sub-district Head, Imran, who is currently in detention for the case of persecution which has become legally binding.
"It will still be, for when the time comes, it is from the field of forest and land certification that schedules, we are waiting for directions," he said.
Commission III of the DPR also paid attention to this alleged violation. This was revealed from the statement of Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi who represented the DPR Commission III working visit to the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Mataram, Wednesday (22/4).
"The case must be investigated transparently," said Aboe Bakar.
According to him, every violation of internal discipline and ethics of the institution must still be supervised and it is part of efforts to maintain public confidence, especially in the performance of the Adhyaksa Corps.
"Public trust must be maintained. Internal supervision must also be improved," he said.
The alleged extortion arose from the process of executing Imran's detention for the court's inkrah decision. At that moment, Imran admitted that he had been asked for tens of millions of money by three prosecutors at the Dompu District Attorney's Office.
The Pajo Sub-district Head admitted that he was asked for Rp. 30 million with the pretext that the money could reduce the sentence. However, at that time he only gave Rp. 20 million. The money was handed over directly at the Dompu District Attorney's Office.
Imran admitted that he had made peace with the victim so he thought the problem had been resolved. However, the legal process continued until he had to undergo detention. He felt he had been cheated and extorted by the law enforcement officers.
The three prosecutors suspected of extortion are the former Head of the Intelligence Section of the Dompu District Attorney's Office with the initials J, the former Head of the General Criminal Section of the Dompu District Attorney's Office with the initials K, and the former Head of the Special Criminal Section of the Dompu District Attorney's Office with the initials IS.
When Imran revealed this problem in the execution of the court's decision, which has become legally binding, the three prosecutors had already changed their duties.
