Seven trains that cross Daop 5 have changed schedules starting May 1

JAKARTA - A total of seven train trips departing early and passing through the area of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Operation (Daop) 5 Purwokerto have changed schedules which will be implemented starting May 1, 2026.

"This schedule change is expected to improve operational performance and provide a better travel experience for customers," said KAI Public Relations Manager for Purwokerto M. As'ad Habibuddin, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 24.

According to him, the adjustment includes changes to departure and arrival schedules, as well as the addition of a stop station on a number of trips to increase the reliability of the service.

He said the seven trains that underwent adjustments included the KA 10A Argo Wilis Bandung-Surabaya Gubeng, KA 77C Lodaya Solo Balapan-Bandung, KA (78C) Lodaya Bandung+Solo Balapan, KA 114C Sawunggalih Pasar Senen-Kutoarjo, KA 284B Serayu Pasar Senen-Purwokerto, KA 287A Serayu Purwokerto-Pasar Senen, and KA 291A Kutojaya Selatan Kutoarjo-Kiaracondong.

On the Argo Wilis train, changes occurred at the Kroya Station with arrival time from 11.46 WIB to 11.56 WIB and departure time from 11.49 WIB to 11.59 WIB. At Kutoarjo Station, the arrival time changed from 12.38 WIB to 12.48 WIB and departure time from 12.41 WIB to 12.51 WIB.

Meanwhile, KA 77C Lodaya experienced an acceleration in arrival/departure time at a number of stations, including Kutoarjo, Kebumen, Gombong, Kroya, and Sidareja and added a stop at Gandrungmangun Station with an arrival time of 10.36 WIB and departure at 10.42 WIB.

KAI also added a stop station for KA 78C Lodaya, namely at Gandrungmangun with an arrival time of 10.32 WIB and departure at 10.38 WIB.

Furthermore, KA 114C Sawunggalih experienced a change in arrival/departure time at Karanganyar and Kebumen Stations, as well as an adjustment in arrival time at Kutoarjo Station to 12.39 WIB.

Likewise, KA 284B Serayu has changed its schedule at a number of stations such as Sidareja, Gandrungmangun, Jeruklegi, Maos, and Kroya, while KA 287A Serayu has adjusted its time at Gandrungmangun and Sidareja Stations.

Meanwhile, KA 291A South Kutojaya experienced a change in arrival time at Maos Station from 11.49 WIB to 11.38 WIB.

Regarding this, As'ad urged customers to pay attention to the latest schedule on the ticket and to arrive early at the station to anticipate changes in departure time.

"We will continue to prioritize safety and improve the quality of service to customers," he said.
