Minister of Defense Discusses Joint Defense Program for TNI Retired Personnel

JAKARTA - Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin invited all former commanders, chiefs of staff and TNI officials to discuss various government programs, one of which is in the field of state defense which has been running for the past two years.

"Until now, we have not provided various kinds of information to the public because the development of the country's defense power does require a little attention related to publication," said Sjafrie when opening a meeting of brotherhood with retired personnel in the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (BTI) room, Ministry of Defense, Central Jakarta, Friday, April 24, reported by ANTARA.

Padamomentum this Sjafrie and the ranks of TNI officials actively open any achievements that have been made by the government.

Sjafrie said the TNI Commander, General TNI Agus Subiyanto, will later explain the government's defense programs to the TNI veterans.

After the meeting lasted a few minutes, the media crew who were in the room were asked to leave by the protocol. As a result, the meeting was finally held in private. Until now, the meeting is still taking place in the BTI room of the Ministry of Defense.

The meeting was attended by the TNI commander and three chief of staff, namely the Chief of Staff of the TNI General Maruli Simanjuntak, the Chief of Staff of the TNI Admiral Muhammad Ali and the Chief of Staff of the TNI Marshal Mohamad Tonny Harjono.
