Once Viral, Now The Sin-reward Recording Application Closes The Book
JAKARTA - The application for registering good and bad charities, Raqib Atid, which had shocked netizens on social media recently, is no longer operating. By the owner, the application has been withdrawn from the Google Play Store.
Raqib Atid himself, in the teachings of Islam are two names of angels who are tasked with recording human deeds while in the world. How small the reward and the amount of sin committed the two angels will record.
Later, the assignment of the two angels was developed into a digital application that functions to record rewards and sins independently. By the creator, Mahmud Fauzi, this application aims to help users become a better person, in accordance with the records of their deeds.
Unfortunately, the application has received a rating of 3.7 from the netizen, suddenly disappeared from the Google Play Store page. Quoting from Kompas.com , the reason for the withdrawal of the Raqib Atid application from the Play Store was because he was worried that it would cause misunderstanding and controversy.
Fauzi, who is still a Physics Engineering student at one of the tertiary institutions, said he wanted to perfect the applications he is currently developing. On other occasions, he will no longer use names that can cause misunderstanding.
Before being withdrawn, the Raqib Atid application had been downloaded more than 5,000 times by netizens. From existing reviews, this application was actually greeted positively even though there were some negative comments from netizens.
"For muhasabah facilities, it's okay. Focus on shortcomings and sins. Don't on good deeds. Do good without writing them down, let Allah write them down," wrote this application user.
"Hopefully a blessing. Continue to develop the aps. Your intention is good. And maybe the negative comments here do not know what it means. Hopefully they will be given guidance. Because the salafus salafus ulama always review what has been done before going to sleep. If there is wrong doing istighfar. And if there is good, thank God, "wrote another comment.
Before disappearing from the Play Store, the Raqib Atid application allows users to record their actions independently, whether they are sins or rewards. Each column will be accumulated in a graph of the sins and merits that have been recorded.
Examples of good deeds or good deeds that can be recorded in this application include dhikr, prayers, alms, reading the Koran, fasting, and others. Meanwhile, the forms of bad deeds or sins that can be included are arguing against your parents, breaking promises, stealing, and so on.
Indeed, some ustaz welcomed this application. Where each user can evaluate himself from what he does (muhasabah) simply.
"As a simulation of how to calculate charity so that it makes us more alert in doing," said Ustaz Muhammad Yusron Shidqi as quoted from era.id.
