China Reduces Gasoline and Solar Fuel Prices at Gas Stations

China has cut the price of gasoline and diesel fuel for the first time since the Iran war began to reflect changes in the global oil market.

Citing the BBC, Wednesday, April 22, the National Development and Reform Commission, which acts as China's main economic planner, sets gasoline price revisions every 10 working days, based on international crude oil prices.

The reduction in prices at China's gas stations will save drivers around $3 or 2.22 pounds to fill a 50-liter tank of 92-octane gasoline.

China has raised the maximum retail price for gasoline and diesel several times since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran. The war, which began on February 28, has caused oil prices to soar.
