Vivo Y600 Pro Ready to Launch, 10,200 mAh Battery, 80W Fast Charging, and 1.5K OLED Screen
JAKARTA - Vivo is preparing to launch its latest smartphone, the Vivo Y600 Pro, in the coming days in the Chinese market. Although it has not been officially announced, a number of leaks from certification and benchmark databases have revealed almost all of its specifications - and one thing immediately caught the eye: a super jumbo battery above 10,000 mAh.
Based on data from China Telecom and 3C certification, the Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to be equipped with a 10,200 mAh battery, making it the largest in the history of the Vivo smartphone line. This capacity is combined with 80W fast charging support, which is expected to be able to reduce charging time despite the very large battery size.
Interestingly, this device still comes with a relatively slim dimension in its class, with a thickness of around 8.15 mm and a weight of 221 grams - figures that are still quite "sane" for a phone with such a large battery.
On the front, the Vivo Y600 Pro will carry an OLED 6.83-inch screen with a 1,5K resolution (2800x1260 pixels). This panel is intended to provide a sharp visual experience, both for content consumption and gaming.
For performance, this device is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset - the commercial name of MT6858T - with an octa-core CPU configuration and Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. Geekbench benchmark results show scores of 1,036 for single-core and 3,103 for multi-core, with support for up to 12GB of RAM and Android 16 operating system.
In the camera sector, the Vivo Y600 Pro carries a fairly solid configuration for the middle class. The 32MP front camera is ready to support selfie and video call needs, while the 50MP rear camera is placed in a round-shaped camera module that is a feature of its design. This device also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In terms of variants, Vivo offers many configuration options, ranging from 8GB/128GB to 12GB/512GB. The color options are also quite diverse, including Floating Gold, Bright Moon Black, Vast Blue, and Starry Purple - which had previously appeared in the official teaser.
According to information circulating, Vivo Y600 Pro is scheduled to be released on April 30 in China. In addition, leaks from Digital Chat Station also mention the possibility of another variant with the iQOO branding, although there is no certainty about the global launch.
With a combination of a "monster" battery, a sharp screen, and solid performance, the Vivo Y600 Pro seems ready to be an interesting option in the mid-range segment - especially for users who have one principle: the charger is optional, the long-lasting battery is mandatory.
