Trauma of House Robbery, Uya Kuya Does Not Want to Be Silent Anymore When Defamed

JAKARTA - Uya Kuya's firm attitude in reporting the spread of hoaxes on the ownership of the Dapur MBG is not without reason. Uya admitted that he had a deep trauma because he was silent when he was slandered in August last year, which led to the looting of his personal house by the provoked masses.

Uya told how his eldest daughter, Cinta Kuya, had felt sad and questioned why her father was constantly the target of vile slander.

"Cinta asked, 'Pah, what is this again? Does Papa have a kitchen?' I answered, Papa doesn't have a single MBG kitchen. They are sad because of the trauma of the August incident, when our house was looted because of a hoax video that I kept silent," said Uya Kuya at the DPR Building, Tuesday, April 21.

The impact of the looting is still felt to this day. Uya revealed that his house was vandalized by the masses until his pipes and toilets were stolen, it was only 70 percent of the renovation stage. Until now, he and his family still have to live in other places.

"The house was built for a dozen years from my work on TV, morning, afternoon, evening. There is no people's money there. That's why I don't want to stay silent anymore. If there is slander, I report and clarify," concluded the Chairman of the DPW PAN DKI Jakarta.
