Google Photos Launches Quick Face Refinement Feature, Can Look More Smooth

Google announced the launch of a new feature for its photo application, Google Photos. This feature is an editing tool to improve facial photo details.

This feature is designed specifically to provide a subtle touch of improvement that looks natural in a short time. With this feature, users can remove blemishes and improve the texture of the skin that is visible in the photo.

"Your photos should capture how you felt at the time, which is why we're introducing new editing tools to help apply subtle enhancements," Google said, quoted on Tuesday, April 21.

In addition, this quick editing feature can also whiten teeth automatically. For more detailed results, Google provides various specific options such as intensity settings for the iris area, eyebrows, to lip color.

The editing process can be done by simply selecting the face detected in the photo. After the face is selected, a row of editing tools will appear at the bottom of the screen.

This feature is being launched gradually to all Android users who have devices with compatible specifications. Users can only use the feature on phones with a minimum of 4GB RAM and Android 9.0 OS or higher.

The launch of this new feature is one of Google's ways to keep users active. This feature will make users save more storage space by not downloading third-party editing applications.
