Tried to be reconciled, Fay Nabila speaks out about the reason for filing for divorce from her husband
JAKARTA - The shocking news came from dancer and actress Fay Nabila. After undergoing a short-lived domestic life, the former participant of Indonesia Mencari Bakat confirmed her decision to separate from her husband, Rama Restu.
Fay revealed that this big decision was not taken suddenly. He admitted that he had considered the divorce plan for almost a year.
"This is a decision that I have been considering for, well, almost a year. What is certain is that it has also been discussed by both families," said Fay Nabila quoted from the @rumpi_ttv Instagram channel, Tuesday, April 21.
Even though their marriage only lasted a few months, Fay said the family could finally accept the decision. Initially, the parents of both parties tried to mediate so that the two could reconcile again.
However, seeing the current conditions, Fay's mother finally gave her daughter's choice full support.
"Because my parents know what the main problem is. At first I tried to refer back, but how can it go back to the child who is running it. Seeing his confession is enough to get here, I was finally supported by Mother," he explained.
The interesting thing revealed in the interview was the reason why Fay finally filed for divorce in court, even though the divorce agreement was a joint decision.
Fay explained that there were domicile constraints and the husband's busy schedule which hindered the administrative process. It is known that the two married in Surabaya and have KTP domiciled in Salatiga. Meanwhile, at present Fay is more settled in Jakarta.
"At first he was the one who asked, he took care of everything because it was easier in Salatiga because his domicile was there. He took care of everything, I just felt that he might also handle the work, he had a lot of work outside the city," said Fay.
Because the process was felt to be slow due to the husband's busy schedule, Fay finally decided to take over the lawsuit so that it could be completed quickly.
"I'm busy not taking care of it, I'm like crazy, 'ah I'll take care of it' like that," he concluded in a firm tone.
Now, Fay admits that he feels more relieved after going through a long process and intense discussions between families before finally being at the point of parting.
