Jambi Police Investigate the Involvement of 3 Police in the Rape Case
JAMBI - The Jambi Police are investigating the involvement of three members related to the alleged rape case of a woman with the initials C who had gone viral some time ago.
"The case continues to develop in the public space, so it also encourages us to accelerate the handling of the case in a transparent and accountable manner," said Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Kombes Erlan Munaji, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, April 20.
The legal advisor of the victim with the initials C has also reported the incident to the SPKT of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police as a form of seeking justice and ensuring that the handling of the case is carried out objectively.
Therefore, the Jambi Police also enforce the law and code of ethics internally.
Two Jambi Police personnel, namely Bripda S and Bripda N, who were the main perpetrators in the case, have been subject to an investigation process in the form of a commission of the Indonesian National Police Code of Ethics (KKEP). The results of the ethics trial, the two were dismissed or dismissed with dishonor (PTDH).
Meanwhile, the other three Jambi Police personnel suspected of being involved are currently undergoing the process of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) as part of accountability for the alleged violations they committed.

This process is carried out professionally, procedurally, and transparently in accordance with applicable legal provisions," he said.
The National Police, especially the Jambi Police, will not tolerate any form of violation of the law, especially those that hurt the sense of justice of the community.
