Kim Jae Won's Story as Kim Go Eun's New Man in "Yumi's Cells 3"

JAKARTA - The journey of the character Yumi will continue and end with the drama Yumi's Cells 3. Actor Kim Jae Won was chosen as Shin Soon Rok, a new figure in Yumi's life.

Kim Jae Won is a model and actor who made his acting debut in 2021. Yumi's Cells 3 was his first project as a leading role, especially acting opposite Kim Go Eun.

"As a very rational person, my character, Soon Rok, suddenly feels his calm shaken by Yumi. Seeing him face the turbulent emotions for the first time in his life is what makes him so adorable," Kim Jae Won said in a question and answer session about Yumi's Cells 3.

Kim Jae Won revealed that playing the iconic character from the webtoon that his fans love has its own burden. However, he tried his best to become the beloved Shin Soon Rok.

"Playing the character of a show that was so successful felt like a huge responsibility! It's an incredible honor and of course comes with its own pressure. However, I choose to see that pressure as motivation," said Kim Jae Won.

"I put a lot of effort into making sure I could capture the essence as accurately as possible," he said again.

Yumi's Cells 3 is still focused on Kim Yumi (Kim Go Eun) who is now working full-time as a writer. Her life gets even more boring until she meets Shin Soon Rok (Kim Jae Won), a new producer at her office.

Meanwhile, Yumi's Cells 3 drama has 8 episodes and the latest two episodes are released every Monday.
