Former Club Manager's Story about Katy Perry and Ruby Rose in Australia

JAKARTA - The former manager of a nightclub in Melbourne spoke out after Ruby Rose said singer Katy Perry had sexually harassed her. This incident took place 20 years ago and was revealed by Rose recently.

Ruby Rose responded to a video on Threads talking about Katy Perry at Coachella. Ruby Rose wrote, "Katy Perry harassed me at the Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who cares what she thinks."

"It took two decades to talk about this, but I'm grateful to have made it to find my voice, it shows how much trauma and sexual harassment can impact," Ruby Rose wrote again.

Katy Perry's side denied Ruby Rose's allegations and called them full of lies. However, the former Spice Market club manager spoke about it.

Launching Rolling Stone Australia, this manager confirmed that Katy Perry and Ruby Rose came to the club in August 2010. Not only the two of them, they also came with Perry's hair and makeup stylist and Rose's male friend.

"It was a security nightmare because there were 600 people there and Katy kept coming out and dancing with everyone and getting into the middle of the crowd," the manager said.

"They were drinking but they were doing their own thing. I don't know if there was any harassment or someone vomiting. They were both too drunk. To avoid people taking pictures of them, we called a driver and a car to stay off Collins Road to the hotel. We took them from behind and out of the emergency exit and put them in the car together," explained the former club manager.

Then, Ruby Rose and Katy Perry moved to The Peel Hotel. Perry is reportedly under investigation by Australian police regarding Ruby Rose's allegations.

Katy Perry's side responded, "The accusations made on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only false, they are dangerous, lies. Rose has a track record of making serious accusations on social media to several individuals, making repeated claims," said Katy Perry's side.

Ruby Rose also said that she had reported the case to the authorities so that she did not comment publicly on the case.

"It looks like I'm rejecting a message of support but I'm not. This is a standard request from the police, and it's quite relieving. I can go through the recovery process now, and keep going. I love you all," wrote Ruby Rose.
