Bahlil: Russian Crude Almost Final, RI Looking for Oil Supply to All Countries
JAKARTA - Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that Indonesia is close to finalizing the supply of crude or crude oil from Russia. This step was taken when the national oil demand far exceeded domestic production.
At the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Thursday, April 16, Bahlil said his visit to Russia was a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's instructions after meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The focus is on long-term energy cooperation.
"The good news is that we will receive crude supplies from Russia and the Russians will also be ready to build several important infrastructure in order to increase our national energy reserves and resilience," said Bahlil.
Crude is crude oil that has not been processed. This material will later be processed at the refinery into fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and avtur.
