Cloudflare and Wiz Collaboration Strengthens AI Application Visibility and Protection
Cloudflare announced its new partnership with Wiz, a leader in cloud and AI security, to provide security teams with a unified way to analyze and protect AI-based applications across their environments.
By integrating Cloudflare's AI Security for Apps directly into the Wiz Security Graph, organizations will gain access to the most complete map of their entire AI footprint, and the tools needed to secure it.
This integration is claimed to help customers automatically eliminate AI blind spots across their infrastructure, allowing security teams to safely accelerate AI adoption.
Cloudflare AI Security for Apps equips organizations with security at the edge of the network to secure AI endpoints from risks such as fast injection and unsafe topics.
Meanwhile, Wiz AI Application Protection Platform (AI-APP) jointly maps the overall AI application and reveals security gaps.
Cloudflare's Chief Partner Officer, Tom Evans, said AI is the most transformative technology in a generation, but for many organizations it is still a "black box".
According to him, many CISOs have difficulty balancing the drive for AI innovation with the risk of uncontrolled Shadow AI. Cloudflare and Wiz's partnership, he continued, allows organizations to accelerate AI innovation without sacrificing the security of sensitive data.
"This partnership gives organizations a unified view of AI application endpoints and a shared risk context, helping them stop threats like rapid injection and shadow AI before they start," added Oron Noah, Vice President of Products, Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz.
Through this partnership, customers can discover Shadow AI, examine AI traffic in real-time, map sensitive data flows, verify the implementation of protection, and prioritize improvements based on the highest risk level.
