Pregnant with her first child, Shenina Cinnamon talks about her struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum

JAKARTA - Happy news came from talented actress Shenina Cinnamon. Through the latest upload on her personal Instagram account, the Penyalin Cahaya film star announced her first pregnancy while showing off a baby bump photo that was starting to look obvious.

However, behind this happiness, Shenina revealed that the early journey of her pregnancy was not easy. This Angga Yunanda's lover admitted that he had experienced hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition of excessive nausea and vomiting during pregnancy that is much more severe than ordinary morning sickness.

In the caption of the photo, Shenina told how her condition in the last few months required her to go back and forth to the hospital.

"After a few months my gallery was filled with photos (vomiting and fainting emoji) and I went to the hospital several times because of hyperemesis gravidarum," wrote Shenina Cinnamon as quoted by VOI, Thursday, April 16.

This condition had disrupted his activities. However, now Shenina has good news about his health. He is grateful because his condition is starting to stabilize and he can enjoy food again.

"Now I'm really happy that I can start walking, eat good food and hopefully I can get back to normal activities! Bismillah, the baby is healthy, right?" he continued while attaching a baby emoji and a blue heart.

In the mirror selfie photo that she uploaded, Shenina looked relaxed wearing a short black top and white pants, showing her growing belly. A happy glow radiated from her face, indicating her readiness to enter a new phase as a mother.

The post was immediately flooded with prayers from fellow artists and fans. Many prayed that Shenina and her future child would always be healthy until the day of delivery.
