Kaltara Police Chief Emphasizes the Role of the Business World in Maintaining Security Stability
TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy emphasized the importance of the business world's role in maintaining security stability in the region.
This was emphasized by the police chief during a working visit to PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN) with the Head of the Police (PJU) of Kaltara. He was greeted by the Managing Director of PT PKN Harry K. Tanoto along with the board of directors, Wednesday, April 15.
"Security stability is an important factor in supporting economic activities in the region," said Inspector General Djati.
According to the Police Chief, this condition is very influenced by the welfare of the community around the company's operational area.
"When the community has access to the economy and jobs, then the stability of kamtibmas will be better maintained," he said.
The Police Chief also reminded PT PKN to continue to contribute to community empowerment, such as providing assistance to MSMEs and assistance for cocoa seeds that have been processed into local products.
"I also encourage this company to continue to contribute through the absorption of local labor and community empowerment programs around the operational area," he said.
Irjen Djati emphasized the importance of communication between companies, the community, and security personnel to prevent potential disturbances in the field.
"Good synergy between all parties will support the creation of a safe and conducive situation in Kaltara," he said.
