Seskab: President Prabowo Brings Strategic Partnership Souvenirs from Russia-France
JAKARTA - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto brought home various strategic partnership agreements from his state visit to Russia and France.
"Upon arriving in the country, President Prabowo brought home various strategic agreements," said Teddy, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 15.
In Moscow, said Teddy, Prabowo met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the meeting, the two leaders of the country confirmed the improvement of cooperation related to long-term national energy supply, including crude oil and LPG reserves.
President Prabowo also tasked Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia to meet with President Putin's special envoy and Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev to discuss the continuation of the cooperation in more detail in Moscow.
Meanwhile, in Paris, Teddy explained that President Prabowo met with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss increasing cooperation in the fields of energy, education, digital communication, and long-term economic investment.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the visit to the two countries had yielded concrete achievements for Indonesia, considering that both countries were large countries with abundant resources and had an important role at the global level.
"A short two-day visit to two super power countries, holders of UN veto rights and the world's largest resource producers with big and concrete results for Indonesia Raya," said Teddy.
Previously, President Prabowo Subianto had arrived in the country through the TNI AU Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, Wednesday afternoon, after completing a series of working visits to Russia and France.
In an online monitoring, the presidential plane carrying President Prabowo landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base around 14.00 WIB.
Under the plane's stairs, the President was greeted by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and a number of high-ranking state officials and the TNI-Polri ranks, including Secretary of State Prasetyo Hadi, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto, and Head of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) Muhammad Herindra.
