Starting Today, Jasa Marga Will Move the Old Sadang GT Transaction to the New Sadang
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. through Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad announced the relocation of the Sadang Lama Toll Gate (GT) to the Sadang Baru GT on Wednesday, April 15, starting at 13.30 WIB.
The relocation was carried out to improve the smoothness of transactions and as part of the construction phase of the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II South Toll Road in the Sadang Junction (SS) area.
Pgs. Senior Manager Representative Office 3 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Danang Eko Saputro said, GT Sadang Baru has been equipped with supporting facilities for smooth transactions. Vehicle queues are expected to be more controlled, especially during peak traffic periods.
"Jasa Marga ensures that all operational aspects, from the readiness of toll equipment, transaction systems to other supporting infrastructure, have met the minimum service standards (SPM) set," said Danang in a written statement, Wednesday, April 15.
The supporting facilities provided at GT Sadang Baru are four outgoing transaction substations and four incoming substations, with two substations being reversible which can be operated flexibly according to traffic density conditions.
In addition, traffic engineering in the form of a diversion (detour) is applied in line with the plan to demolish the Old GT Sadang and the continued construction of the ramp.
Security on the route is carried out by installing moveable concrete barriers (MCB), closing unofficial access (leaking lanes), and preparing emergency lanes to anticipate conditions on the ground.
Jasa Marga appeals to road users to remain cautious and follow the instructions of officers in the field during the transition period of operating the new gate.
This needs to be a concern so that the journey remains smooth. Then, road users are urged to set the departure time, choose the best route and prepare adequate electronic card balance.
