Napi Corruption who went to the Coffee Shop was controlled by the Officer who was transferred to the Isolation Cell

KENDARI - The Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) for Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) has taken firm action against a prisoner in the Corruption Crime (Tipikor) case, initials S, who was viral for being caught in a coffee shop in Kendari, Sultra.

Head of the South Sulawesi Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Sulardi said that after receiving reports related to inmates who went to the coffee shop, his party immediately deployed the Internal Compliance Operational Unit (Satops Patnal) of the South Sulawesi Directorate General of Customs and Excise to investigate the case.

"We immediately checked the officer who escorted the WBP, immediately in the BAP (News Report of the Inspection) together with the Kendari Rutan Patnal," said Sulardi as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 14.

He said that from the results of the BAP, it was found that there were violations committed by the officers who escorted the inmates. For this reason, his party decided to give disciplinary sanctions to the officers.

"Because, when the WBP session was over, he was invited to have coffee by his former subordinates (Syahbandar). However, by the officer, he did not forbid it so that they continued to go to the coffee shop," he said.

Sulardi said that in addition to being given disciplinary sanctions, his party also pulled the officer to the South Sulawesi Regional Office of the Directorate General of Prisons, where he had previously served in the Kendari Class II A Detention Center.

"Disciplinary punishment is confidential and still has the right to respond to the sanctions," said Sulardi.

He revealed that in addition to officers, his party also sanctioned inmate S by transferring him to Kendari Prison.

"The breath was given an isolation cell sanction and was transferred to the prison," said Sulardi.

Previously, the Kendari Detention Center conducted an intensive examination of an officer who went viral escorting a Tipikor inmate with the initials S to a coffee shop in Kendari, South Sulawesi Province.
