Iran estimates $270 billion in losses from US-Israeli attacks

JAKARTA - Iran estimates the early losses of the war with the US-Israel reached 270 billion US dollars.

"One of the issues that our negotiating team is trying to resolve and is also being discussed in Islamabad is the issue of war reparations," Iranian Government Spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said in an interview with the Russian news agency, RIA Novosti, Tuesday, April 14.

Fatemeh admitted that the number of losses due to the massive US-Israeli attack was still temporary.

"Losses usually have to be examined in several layers. Iran's losses due to US and Israeli attacks are currently estimated at around 270 billion US dollars," he continued.

The war against Iran began with the US-Israeli attack on Tehran on February 28, 2026.

After 40 days of mutual attacks, a two-week ceasefire was created, followed by US-Iranian peace talks allowing a permanent agreement in Islamabad, Pakistan.

However, the 21-hour peace talks since Saturday, April 11, 2026, have stalled without producing an agreement.
