Moment of familiarity between President Prabowo and President Putin
Moscow - President Prabowo and Russian President Vladimir Putin looked familiar as they escorted President Prabowo to the front of the official vehicle that picked him up in the courtyard of the Kremlin Palace, Monday, April 13.
The gesture reflects the close personal relationship between the leaders of Indonesia and Russia, as well as a symbol of respect and friendship between the two countries. Before saying goodbye, President Prabowo and President Putin also exchanged souvenirs as a sign of friendship and memories of their meeting.
Putin gave a souvenir in the form of a samovar, a traditional Russian tool for cooking water and boiling tea. Meanwhile, President Prabowo gave a vase of flowers with batik patterns typical of Indonesia as well as a miniature of Borobudur Temple to Putin as a symbol of the richness of culture and the heritage of the Indonesian nation's civilization.
The exchange of souvenirs is a symbol of respect, friendship, and the commitment of both countries to continue to strengthen the bilateral relations that have been closely intertwined.
