Not wanting any misunderstandings to linger, Teuku Rassya immediately replied to the comment. He explained that the wedding format which was only filled by the bride and groom was the result of an agreement between both families.

"Both my parents (including my mother) and my wife's parents have previously agreed to use a format where only the bride and groom stand at the altar," wrote Rassya, quoted by VOI from his official account @teukurassya, Tuesday, April 14.

Furthermore, the son of Teuku Rafly Pasya revealed the pragmatic reasons behind the decision. Apparently, the health and comfort of parents and grandparents are the main considerations.

Rassya said that this format was chosen so that their parents would not feel exhausted because they had to stand for a long time to greet thousands of guests.

"So that our parents don't get tired at once and can accompany our grandmothers and interact with the invited guests for longer," he explained again.

Rassya's honest clarification also immediately received a positive response from other netizens. Many defended the decision and judged that Rassya still prioritized her mother even if in a different way. "Guess it must be like this, it's impossible for Rasya not to prioritize her mother too," wrote @devitapurnamasari account.
